Why ask? You don't believe it anyway.

What is usually the first thing people say when they find out someone they know is a criminal?

"It wasn't them!" They couldn't have done it!" "They go to church every week, they teach bible classes, volunteer with kids and old people!"

When in face they are terrible people.

We face this all the time when people attack us about our lack of communication with my husbands parents.

Why ask when you were already given a version from them and that is what you chose to believe.

Why do you feel that just because you know them you have a right to get involved?
